Looking for the best exercise to lose weight? There are many different exercises you can use in order to lose weight, it's kind of hard to pick out just 1 that will be considered the "be all, end all", however if I had to pick one exercise, it would be squats.

You see, squats are designed to not only workout the quadriceps, but also the whole body. What happens when you squat is you first pull the barbell from the rack with it being supported behind your neck. Following this, you squat down while keeping your back straight until you're almost parallel. Once you're at this point, you push up with your heels back to a standing position, remembering to keep your back straight.

This is a dangerous exercise so if you're new to it, I'd strongly suggest you look up the proper form of this and look at the videos over and over until you get a good feel for how it's to be executed. Also, when you first try it, be sure you use a light weight so you don't hurt yourself. However this truly is one of the most powerful exercises as it incorporates your whole body into the movement.

In addition to this fact, it is a killer movement which really tires you out fast and so it burns many calories. It is a great exercise to use in combination with regular cardio.
